British singer Alexandra Burke was performed at the funeral of a cancer campaigner on 25th June 2011 Saturday.Burke was among the mourners who attended a memorial service for Donna Bannatyne, who died on Monday (20Jun11) at the age of 39 after a battle with skin cancer, which she blamed on her use of sunbeds.
According to the Scotland's Sunday Mail that the singer performed her version of Leonard Cohen's classic song at the Bothwell Parish Church in Lanarkshire.
Bannatyne succeeded in raising more than 1.6 million dollars a cancer diagnosis the following nine years ago for charity (£ 1).
